I order my running shoes online. Ok. I should be running. Anyway. I only wear AVIA. I wear a 7.5. I order them from Onlineshoes.com. It's my new favorite way to save time. I select, buy, and they arrive. Like xmas...any day. What did I do b4 the internet....nasty cliche that really applies here. I HATE trying on shoes, clothes, etc. I love the internet. It lets me quietly search its halls with out coughing on me or letting its babies cry.
Random student games:
Today a student teased me by pulling his paper out of my reach right when I about grabbed it. So, I went on to the next person and said... "what am I, 5?" He apologized. But GEEZ. I'm a "cool" teacher, I think, but I don't play games. I'm too frackin busy to play.

Are you kidding, I buy so much stuff over the internet. I am going to buy a new tailight for my car this weekend over the internet.
And you know, even "cool" teachers have to manage their times wisely. The classroom is no place for games. Unless they are games about commas and semi-colons...
Yay for internet shopping. And boo for 5-year-old keep-away games. Silly, and not in a good way.
Perhaps I will go order some new gym shoes right now...hooray!
running? really? I just can't see it. Anyway, I did my first online Christmas shopping--you should be proud of my virtualness. I had to find the T-Rex Carnivore. Not to alarm you, since you're a vegetarian, but the T-Rex Carnivore is a toy for Luke (littlest one, age 5--remember?). Anyway, my virtual trip was to no avail, since every stinking store was sold out. Then, in a moment of reality, I walked into Target and found it on the shelf. I did a happy dance in the aisle.
Keep away games? Sounds like my bunch of lovable writing pups.
