So, I didn't have the flu. I had a fever, cough, massive headache, and other unmentionables, but it wasn't the flu. Officially, it was/is and "upper respiratory infection". Officially, it kicked me. I had a fever through Wed, so I couldn't go to the pop culture conference in NM. I finally went to school to pick up books on Friday. Thanks be to Blackboard, so my students stayed on track.
And, I'm still really out of it a week later.
I'm NOT looking forward to going back to school. I'm way behind on everything but grading.
And, I'm feeling unmotivated bc I didn't get a rush of new scholarship ideas by going to the conference.
The spouse and I did get into C&W 2008, so that's good, and I've got 4C's, too. They seem so far away...

yah. I'm in the main hotel, and the spouse will be there, too!
