Remembering

I just saw that jalapenos are part of the salmonella scare.
It reminded me that my brother Jim used to call them "japalenos" and it used to make me laugh and laugh when I was a kid.
He also said:
"pespi" instead of "pepsi"
"sketti" instead of "spaghetti"
And, remembering makes me smile.
