I've got this great idea for a book. An academic one, of course, but we're already travelling for Thanksgiving, and I can't concentrate. Anyway, I've promised myself that I'll get a draft done this weekend sometime.
I'm thinking about Heroes. And, I know I missed it this week bc I was acting as a dutiful sponsor of the Honors Society Association at school. BUT, I think the token Mexicans trying to immigrate over for help story and the token Katrina victim is really a Hero who absorbs powers from the likes of chefs and WWF craziness seems contrived. Besides. The Mexican wonder twin powers thing is freaky.
I'm sad, sad, sad about the writer's strike. But, maybe it will force me to write that proposal and/or get an article out for review. I'm having trouble with time management. Strung out all semester. More on that l8tr.
Oh btw, I'll be practicing text spelling here at times. Just FYI.

First of all...awesome pic.
Secondly, I totally agree about the new Heroes. Kill 'em off and let them take Nicki and Elle with them. I am sad about the writer's strike too, but maybe I should look at it like you do and think, I might actually get stuff done.
What is text spelling? Am I dumb for not knowing?
Like the words you use when texting? IM spelling maybe?
