Release Me

Dr released me from brace-dom at my own comfort yesterday. And, PT ends Mon. Woot. I'm to "expect swelling and pain" for several months bc of the healing process. Nice. I thought I got the surgery to avoid swelling and pain. Whatever.

highlights:

I can walk both up and down stairs correctly but slowly without a brace, but not without a banister.

I'm allowed to jog, but I haven't yet.

I had to jump off a small step in PT. She might as well have asked me to jump off a cliff. But, I did it.

I STILL can't sleep, and the lack of said sleep makes me cranky, stupid, and apathetic. I did get a prescription for a sleeping aide. I tried it last night and it worked ZERO.

I am about as excited about school as I can be in this state. I WISH I could write/revise something academic. I've got like 4 things on deck for this semester. So, I better get my game on.

STILL waiting on the house to close. arg. They say a week. Whatever.

School mtgs start on Tues for me. So, I'm on my last days of vacation...if you can call it that.
